Dining options

Arcadia is home to some of the best restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. It’s no surprise that this quaint little town boasts a number of high-quality eateries, many of them tucked away in nooks and crannies of downtown Arcadia. In fact, this little burg of the south is a foodie’s paradise. Whether you’re in the mood for the latest sushi mania or cornmeal crust pizza, you’ll find it here.
There’s plenty to do in this small town, but it’s the culinary offerings that make it one of the more interesting places to visit in Los Angeles. Arcadia has one of the largest concentrations of eateries in the state, with hundreds of restaurants to choose from. Aside from the ubiquitous diner, the city also offers a diverse array of more upscale spots, including two of the best Chinese restaurants in the county. With a selection that includes everything from kung pao chicken to a fried tilapia debacle, the city’s dining options certainly won’t disappoint.

Access to the beach

Arcadia Beach is a beautiful mile long beach. It has a great variety of rock formations and tidepools. You can visit the beach all year round. During the summer, it’s busy with tourists. However, you should be aware that parking is limited. The city has also imposed restrictions on public beaches and trails in order to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
While Arcadia Beach and other public beaches in the county have imposed temporary measures to control the spread of the novel coronavirus, you still have options. One is to wear face coverings. These do not replace the existing guidelines about social distancing and handwashing, but they can help slow the spread of the virus.
A second option is to stay at home. This order covers beaches, trails and other public areas. It will remain in effect until April 12, 2020. Although you can stay home, you should not take a trip if you’re unable to wash your hands or wear a face covering.
