Since 2005, our office has been participating in a fundraiser called Smiles for Life. All proceeds from our in-office or at-home whitening treatments and cancer screening with the velscope are donated to the Smiles for Life Foundation. The Smiles for Life Foundation is partnered with the Crown Council (an alliance of over 1000 dentists in North America) and have together raised money to children in need throughout North America.
Since 1998, we have raised over $33 million, benefiting hundreds of children. When you pay for your teeth whitening, you write your check directly to the Smiles for Life Foundation. Participating charities include Children’s Miracle Network, Children of Romania, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, CURE (in Cambodia), Smiles For Hope, the Kids Cancer Care Foundation, and the Project Cuddle, Foothill Unity Center for after school program for children.
